Receive, move and adjust stock
Add stock at a location, move it between locations and correct counts - with every change recorded.
Every item's quantity is held per location. To change it, open the item's locations panel from the Stock Items list.
Add stock you have received
- Open the item's locations panel.
- Choose the Location and enter the Quantity.
- Set the type to Received and save.
Move stock
- In the panel, choose the From location and To location. They must be different.
- Enter the Quantity to move and confirm.
Adjust a count
If a count is wrong, record the correction as an Adjustment with a note such as "Manual adjustment". Use Set to zero to clear a location, or remove a location from the item.
Everything is recorded
Each change is written to Transactions, with the time and who did it. See Transactions: the full stock history.
