Recurring jobs: repeat work on a schedule
Set up templates that create job cards automatically - daily, weekly, monthly and more.
Recurring jobs are for work that comes round again and again - a monthly service, a weekly lawn cut, an annual inspection. A recurring template creates a job card on your Kanban board when it is due. It needs a paid plan.
Before you start
The pipeline must have Allows recurring jobs switched on. See Pipelines and stages: set up how your jobs flow.
Create a template
- Open Recurring Jobs and choose to add a template.
- Choose the Pipeline and the Starting stage where new cards should appear.
- Enter a Title template. The due date is added to it for you, for example "Mrs Smith - Lawn Cut - 06 Jun 2025".
- Optionally add a customer, a description and a value.
- Choose the Frequency and the Next due date.
- Set Advance days - how many days before the due date the card should appear. Use 0 for the day itself.
Frequencies
Daily, Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, or Custom with your own interval in days.
How cards are created
- The first time you open CRM each day, you are shown any jobs that are due or overdue, ready to create cards.
- You can also choose Spawn card now on a template to create the next card straight away.
Each card is an ordinary job, so you move it through the stages like any other. Templates show their next due date and flag it when it is Overdue.
